Sorry about that

I know, I know, its been way too long since I posted my last update.  Unfortunately, nothing new is really going on in my mundo.  I'm just tatering around the house, boofing at random noises and random people and being pestered by Gunther.  He is getting a lot bigger but still hasn't filled out like an adult male pug yet.  He is on his way and is very handsome.  Hmmm, I wonder if anybody else out there knows of another handsome, dapper pug around these parts?  I dunno, just sayin...  Anyway, wish I had more fun stuff to talk about, but I don't.

Too dang hot

Hey Everyone, Tato here.  It is hotter than my undercarriage outside now.  This is not good weather for us puggies.  Cuz of our smushed in faces, anything up over 75 and any humidity makes it very difficult for us to breathe.  My little brudder, Gunther, is having just as hard of a time as I am making through the walks without panting like crazy.  We love going for walks, but during this weather we just can't do it like we want to.  Just have to play around in the house where it is nice and cool and comfy.  Although I do know that I look very cute when my mouth is open and panting, dontcha think?

Play time

As you all know, the Tater loves to go to the doggie park.  Unfortunately for me, the weather needs to be very cooperative in order for that to happen.  If it gets above 75 and humid, I just laze around and make the trip pretty much pointless.  Last night was wonderful though, and momuh and daduh took me and my new little brudder Gunther to the park.  It was Gunther's first time to go and we all weren't very sure how he would react.

When we got there, we found out there were two other older pugs already in the park.  Gunther was pretty good about things right away and started running up to people and venturing off on his own.  I guess he is a lot more independent than I am.  I tend to just go around people and other dogs.  He seemed to be perfectly content to just wander off and spelunk on his own.  Even better, as it was, another pug name Utley showed up.  He is very similar to me in size and color but is very athletic and is the only pug I know that can keep up with other doggies while running.  So yes, 5 pugs in the park all at once.  I guess all the families with pugs couldn't pass up the perfect puggie weather last night either.

All in all, I was very happy running around and playing with my little brudder and with Utley.  I love going to the park and it looks like Gunther will too.  It is such a happy place for me and I know momuh and daduh love to see me happy.  Even if Gunther doesn't play with me too much at the park, it'll be ok.  I'll be content to watch him enjoy himself in any way.  That is my job as a big brudder after all.  I love my little companion and I need to make sure he is as happy as I am.

Updates

I know it has been awhile since I've kept you guys updated.  I'm sorrrrrrrrrr!!  I've been busy trying to figure out how to handle this injection of energy into my otherwise peaceful existence.  I was such a calm, even-keeled puppy and Gunther is just not that at all.  He is the opposite of me in a lot of ways.  I do love having him around, however, as a wonderful little playmate.  I get to play fetch with another dog that is my speed and size.  He loves to play tug-of-war with me too.  I'm trying my best to be the alpha but I don't know if that is really in the cards for us.  I'm just to calm and care-free!

Ohhhh Little Brudder

I have a new baby pug brother and his name is Gunther!!  He is a lot like me, per momuh and daduh.  He has a big nose wrinkle, very soft baby fur (I'm still soft, just not as soft as he is), loves to snuggle, etc etc.  I dunno what to make of him so far.  He has pottied in the house, in my sacred area (the kitchen), so I'm not very happy about that.  He is very cute and is a little buddy for me to play with though.  I'm sure he'll grow on me, but for now he is someone to tolerate and occasionally play with.  This is him!

I've got a feeling

Something is different around the house and I don't quite know what it is.  I feel like something momentous is about to occur and it drives me nuts not knowing.  Being a dog, after all, makes me love routine and know what to expect all the time.  I really must know what is going on.  Hopefully it'll  happen soon and all the suspense will be lifted.  I can only take so much of this!!

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhh!!

There are 3 places that make me a very happy tater.  One is home, another is the doggie park and the last is my walker/petsitter's house.  I get to go to the last one this weekend and I'm berry happy about it!!  I haven't been there since momuh and daduh went on vacation last year and I had such a great time with all the cute girlies and other doggies.  I'm soooooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!!  Can't you just tell by the look on my mush?
